Tales of Crossover City - Support The Project

How can I support The ToCC Project?

So, you might have read about The ToCC Project, right? You might have gotten interested in it, right? And now you want to find a way to support the project, right? Well, if I'm right about that last one, then keep reading, for you'll figure out how to help me with accomplishing my dreams!

JOINING THE TEAM:

This one is rather simple and self-explanatory, you join the team through the official Discord. To do this, you must get in contact with me (my Discord is goofyahh_torterra) and tell me how can you help the project, by showing me previous works you made to know if you have what I'm looking for, you'll also need to have a fair amount of free time and not leave me hanging when I get interested in you. Worry because I know when you're scamming me.

If you want to contribute in a way that aligns with what I'm looking for, here are the two roles I want the most:

Illustrators

I need artists the most because:

  1. I don't think I can handle all the art all by myself.
  2. I don't think my current art doesn't fit my vision.
  3. And because if it's supposed to look like TAWOG, I could maybe get as many illustrators as possible for each one to replicate a few artstyles and collaborate with each other.

So, if you wanna be an illustrator for the comic, you need to have decent art skills, collaborative intelligence and the ability to replicate a few artstyles for me to consider you for the team, and once you contact me and show me your art, you gotta prove your skills through a set of trials organized by yours truly.

Storyboard artists

I need storyboard artists because, although I can handle most of the storyboards myself, but I'd like some extra help with figuring out certain fight scenes and similar stuff. You'll need to know how to make stuff clear in the storyboards, aside from being able to have good choreographing skills.

Writers

Although I can do most of the writing myself, if you've read the update you'll know that sometimes I struggle coming up with all the ideas myself, so I need a creative mind full of crazy ideas who can come up with wacky episode ideas and be THAT flavour of autistic... You don't know what I'm talking about? I mean someone hyperfixated on crossovers with so much niche knowledge on a lot of series and stuff.

DONATING TO MY KO-FI:

I currently haven't found a well-paying job so far, and I don't think I could get one no matter what because of those stupid, idiotic corporate demons who don't let anyone in despite the collapsing industry, and I do not trust those scams called "online jobs", so I decided to do the more sane thing and open up a Ko-Fi (not a Patreon, because it requires a credit card and they no longer make those in my country) so people can donate to the project if they have some money to spare, be sure to leave a message saying that the money is for the project and not for me, so I make my best effort to not waste it on stuff like taking my mom to dinner or buying an Uzi plush.

You can also buy a special membership through my Ko-Fi, with three tiers to chose from, each with more perks than the last one, but you'll mostly want to join because of the extra teasers and special shoutouts.

If I have convinced you, click here to go to my Ko-Fi

COMMISSIONING ME THROUGH KO-FI (OR DEVIANTART):

Look, I said that my art doesn't fit my vision of the project, but that doesn't mean I'm bad at art, in fact, I'm quite good at it if I say so myself, so, If you ever wanted a cool drawing made by yours truly, you can comission me through Ko-Fi or DeviantART, in that way you get your cool drawing while also supporting the project, be sure to specify that the money you give is either for me or the project.

Here's the commissions page for my Ko-Fi, and here's the commission sheet on DeviantART.

(Also, if you're Silver Tier or above in my Ko-Fi, you can get 25% Off for my commissions and a few free drawing requests!)

SHARING THE COMIC:

Although the comic has not released yet, if you don't have any special skills that would be helpful or too busy to help or just don't have the money to support the project, word of mouth can help a lot, because my main purpose with ToCC is not profit, but rather, popularity. I'd like to see my creation be analyzed and dissected, I want to see theories made out of it, beautiful fanart too, and funny memes including, no pressure though. So, if you have a friend who might like something like this, go out and share the project and help harvest the early community or get someone helpful, no pressure once again (Oh god am I being too pressuring despite not wanting too??).
